Kenna looks to continue climb to safety

Sligo Rovers and Galway United meet at the Showgrounds in Saturday night's Connacht derby, kick-off 8pm.

Galway manager Jeff Kenna sees his side's trip to the Showgrounds as a great opportunity to climb further towards safety.

Kenna said: "We are hitting form at the right time and with our current momentum, I believe we can get a positive result on Saturday against Sligo Rovers.

"This week I've being driving home to the lads that we cannot get complacent. The effort and level of team performance needs to remain at its highest for our remaining games if we are to survive."

United winger Jonathan Keane misses out after his sending off against Cork City last Friday.

Sligo boss Paul Cook's only injury worry is Chris Butler who is out for the rest of the season.

Steve Feeney returns after a long spell out injured, although Romuld Boco is away on international duty with Benin.

Mauro Almeida has recovered from the injury he picked up in the Brandywell on Friday and should play.
