Joe Hart spoke Italian at his Torino unveiling and received a lovely round of applause

In the grand scheme of Joe Hart’s career, having won Premier League titles and Golden Glove awards, the latest chapter does not read well.

He fell out of favour in Manchester, moved to Torino and made an error leading to a goal on his debut. As summers go, this was not a great way to end one.

But our Joe isn’t going down without a fight, as was shown at his official Torino unveiling.

Yes, you heard correctly. Hart spoke in Italian and announced he is attempting to learn the language; it seemed to go down very well with the press, who applauded England’s number one.

Anyone know the Italian for Head and Shoulders? Only joking.
