Jamie Vardy sent one very pointed tweet last night

Jamie Vardy knows the value of a well-timed response.

Leicester’s star striker took time out from celebrating their Premier League victory last night to send one particular message on Twitter.

Spurs were Leicester’s closest competitors in the latter stages of the title race and a couple of weeks ago their player Harry Kane posted this picture on Instagram.

Kane’s statement of intent obviously didn’t go unnoticed by Vardy, but he waited for the perfect moment to respond.

Last night, less than an hour after Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Tottenham handed Leicester the title - Vardy posted this on Twitter.
