Irish sailors stay in the hunt for medals

Team Ireland continued the good work at Weymouth today in their hunt for Olympic medals.

Ryan Seaton and Matt McGovern have moved up to ninth overall in the 49er after today's two races.

The pair finished ninth in both races.

In the Men's Star class, Peter O'Leary and David Burrows finished in ninth place in race seven earlier today and then in seventh place in race eight, leaving them in ninth overall.

Ger Owens and Scott Flanigan ended 18th in race one of the Men's 470 race.

In their second race of the day, they ended up in 25th place to leave them in 23rd spot overall.
