Ireland sixth in men's U-23 Cross Country

Ireland secured a sixth place finish in the men’s U-23 race at the SPAR European Cross Country Championships at Santry Park, Dublin today.

Best of the Irish was Michael Mulhare who finished in 18th position in a time of 25:57.

Next best for the Irish was Stephen Scullion and Brendan O’Neill who finished 27th and 28th.

The race was won by Nourradeine Smail from France in a time of 25:11 and he was closely followed by fellow country man Hassan Chahdi and Belgium’s Atelaw Bekele in second and third.
