Tramore cancels meeting due to waterlogging

Today's jumps meeting at Tramore has been cancelled due to a waterlogged track.

Heavy overnight rain and an ominous daytime forecast has left the situation untenable at the County Waterford circuit.

A statement issued by the Turf Club read: "Following a course inspection at Tramore this morning, the course was found to be unfit for racing.

"As a consequence, the fixture scheduled for today, Monday, April 11, has been cancelled."
