Clare U-21 hurler Darach Honan is relishing his side's first appearance in a Bord Gais Energy All-Ireland U-21 final this Sunday.
Kilkenny stand in the way of the Banner County and an inaugural title win at Croke Park.
Attacking ace Honan is expected to start this weekend's tussle with the Cats after recovering from a hamstring injury he picked up in action for his club recently.
"Everyone is in high spirits and we are really looking forward to finishing off the job on Sunday", he said.
"The aim at the start of the year was to win a Munster title this year and once we had that done we had to refocus on the semi-final against Galway. That was a huge task as well.
"Now that we have that done it's not too hard to motivate yourself for an All-Ireland final.
"We're looking forward to the day and hopefully we'll get a big performance from the team and subs involved."
Honan says that with Kilkenny searching for back-to-back successes at this grade, the Cats will pose stiff opposition for his side this weekend.
"It will be a real test of us again as they have been there and won it before.
"It's where you want to be. You want to be playing Kilkenny at Croke Park on these big days and you want to be winning against them as well."
