Gosden still in hunt for Cambs hat-trick

Joint-favourites Charm School and Sirvino feature among 65 horses left in Saturday's totesport.com Cambridgeshire at the latest entry stage.

The former shot to prominence in ante-post lists after his eyecatching fifth at Newbury on his latest outing, while Sirvino is searching a remarkable sixth successive victory following his John Smith's Cup triumph in July.

Other leading contenders such as Salute Him, Almiqdaad, Swop and Bushman have stood their ground.

George Primarolo, spokesman for the sponsors, said: "Charm School has been the best-backed horse over the past week after his run at Newbury and he is now joint-favourite in his bid to give John Gosden a hat-trick of wins in following the successes of Pipedreamer and Tazeez in 2007 and 2008."
