Gamble suspended for City

Cork City will be continuing their push for a European place as UCD travel to Turner's Cross tonight, (kick-off 7.45pm).

Cillian Lordan will once again miss out for City with a knee injury, while Pat Sullivan and Joe Gamble are suspended.

Denis Behan should feature at some point having recovered from an ankle injury.

Both Colin Healy (back) and Sean Kelly (hamstring) are also struggling with injuries and are doubtful.

City boss Alan Mathews said: “Both of our previous meetings with UCD have been tight affairs. We were perhaps a bit fortunate to have got the three points here at Turner’s Cross early on in the season, while our performance at the Belfield Bowl was somewhat of an improvement on that and we will need something similar tonight if we want to get the right result.”

Shane McFaul will miss out for UCD as he is struggling with a chest injury but otherwise boss Pete Mahon has a full squad to choose from.
