Galway and Bray share spoils

Galway United 2 Bray Wanderers 2

Anto Flood earned Galway a point in a rollercoaster game at Terryland Park.

Gary Curran gave Galway an 11th minute lead when he latched onto a loose ball to volley home after Karl Sheppard appeared to have been fouled as he went for Derek O’Brien’s cross.

But bottom of the table Bray battled back and leveled a minute into the second half when John Mulroy puts Shane O’Neill in on goal to finish.

Jake Kelly then shot Bray in front on 78 mins when keeper Barry Ryan misjudged the flight of his free-kick.

Galway hit back within four minutes to got their point with Flood heading home Curran’s cross.
