Fred Cogley dies aged 82

Former RTÉ broadcaster Fred Cogley has died aged 82.

He was known for his rugby commentary and presented the sports show Sports Stadium between 1973 and 1997.

RTÉ reports that he covered 11 Olympic games, 12 World Cups and 49 rugby seasons.
