Fabre tight-lipped on getaway

Little news has emerged about Getaway from trainer Andre Fabre following his disappointing fifth in Friday’s Juddmonte Coronation Cup at Epsom.

The five-year-old was sent off a warm favourite for the Group One event but got stuck in a pocket between the eventual winner Soldier Of Fortune.

There had been suggestion in some quarters of Getaway pulling out lame after the race.

Asked if his horse was OK at Chantilly on Sunday, Fabre said: “Yes, he’s fine,” but did not advance any further plans.
