News that Eden Hazard was out of Chelsea’s game at the Stadium Of Light was a blow for Chelsea fans, and equally disappointing for more than 1,500,000 fantasy football managers who had the winger in their team.

It doesn’t take much to upset the delicate balance of fantasy football.

Some were prepared for such eventualities, with substitutes ready to come to the rescue.

For others it created chaos.

Some clung to unlikely outcomes.

But for others there was not a silver lining.

Exciting times.
