Drogs looking to finish Premier Division stint on a high

Relegated Drogheda United sign off from the Premier Division by taking on Galway United at Hunky Dorys Park tonight, kick-off 7.45pm.

United boss Bobby Browne will be without the suspended trio of Ryan Brennan, Darren Meenan and Corie Traecy for tonight’s clash.

Mick Daly is also out with a shoulder injury, while Glen Fitzpatrick is back in contention for a starting place.

Browne said: "We will be looking to end on a positive note. There has been a lot of negativity around the club recently and we just want to finish on a positive.

“The players have been working hard for it and they have always kept their heads high which is all I can ask."

Galway will be without midfielder Ciaran Foley who is out injured, although Stephen O'Donnell may feature at some stage as he makes his comeback after knee surgery.

Karl Sheppard and Stephen Walsh both return to the squad after serving a suspension.
