Doyle could figure for Wolves

Kevin Doyle will return to the Wolves squad for the Barclays Premier League clash at Sunderland tomorrow.

The Republic of Ireland striker has been sidelined for nearly two months with knee ligament damage suffered on international duty.

However, the form of Steven Fletcher and Stephen Ward means Doyle is likely to be on the substitutes’ bench for boss Mick McCarthy, who has no fresh injury concerns.

Provisional squad: Hennessey, Hahnemann, Stearman, Craddock, Berra, Mancienne, Mouyokolo, Elokobi, Foley, Guedioura, Henry, Jones, Milijas, Jarvis, Hunt, Hammill, O’Hara, Kightly, Ebanks-Blake, Fletcher, Ward, Vokes, Doyle.
