Dickov in contention

Blackburn striker Paul Dickov is in contention for a place on the bench for tomorrow’s Barclays Premiership clash against Arsenal at Ewood Park.

Although Dickov only returned to training yesterday after recovering from a dislocated shoulder sustained in a 1-0 win at Newcastle five weeks ago, boss Mark Hughes is refusing to discount the forward from his plans.

After recently returning from a sunshine break in Dubai for warm-weather training, Hughes has no other injury concerns.

Team (from): Friedel, Enckelman, Pedersen, Neill, Savage, Nelsen,

Khizanishvili, Reid, Gray, Tugay, Bentley, Todd, Kuqi, Emerton, Bellamy, Matteo, Dickov, Mokoena, Sinama-Pongolle, Peter.
