St. Patrick’s Athletic 0 Derry City 3

Thomas Stewart scored for the third match running as Derry eased to victory at Richmond Park to remain a point clear at the top of the table.

Stewart shot Derry in front on nine minutes from Gareth McGlynn’s cross and in-form Derry never looked back.

McGlynn added an all too easy second on 33 minutes when given all the space and time in the world to shoot home from Barry Molloy’s pass.

Ger O’Brien’s sublime cross was then headed home by Ciaran Martyn four minutes later.
