Deery comes back for Candystripes against Galway

Derry City will be looking to maintain their title challenge as they take on struggling Galway United at the Brandywell, kick-off 7.45pm.

Kevin Deery returns for Derry after recovering from injury and is included in a strong Candystripes squad.

City boss Stephen Kenny has no injury or suspension concerns for the visit of Galway.

Kenny said: “Galway have some quality players but have had some injuries in key areas which has cost them dearly so far this season.

“We were disappointed following the result in Dundalk. We controlled large parts of the game but got caught on the break.”

Galway must travel to the Brandywell without Rory Gartland who is suspended for the clash.
