Cole set to make Rovers trip

Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti is likely to have Ashley Cole fit for tomorrow’s Carling Cup quarter-final at Blackburn.

The England left-back had to come off with a hamstring injury during Sunday’s win at Arsenal but he will train today and is likely to travel with the squad.

Daniel Sturridge (knee), Alex (hip) and Jose Bosingwa (knee) miss out while Gael Kakuta could make his his first start in a team which is likely to include several changes from the weekend.
