Cobh earn gutsy point against Drogheda

Drogheda United 0 Cobh Ramblers 0

Drogheda hit the bar and missed a penalty as they were frustrated by Cobh who earned a gutsy point to lift themselves off the foot of the table.

Eamon Zayed brought the save of the first half from James McCarthy with a header from Graham Gartland's cross before shooting against the bar on 69 minutes.

Minutes later, a handball by Kenny Coleman from a Richie Baker header gave the champions a penalty.

But McCarthy dived the right way to save Shane Robinson's spot kick.
