City compound relegation fears for Students

Cork City 2 UCD 0

Cork dealt a major blow to UCD's hopes of avoiding relegation as the Students slumped to a fifth defeat on the spin.

Cork started well and were in front on 13 minutes.

Dan Murray's powerful header from Darragh Ryan's corner was parried by Matt Gregg and Lawrie Dudfield tapped home.

Dudfield then won a penalty four minutes later when he was taken down by Alan Mahon and Denis Behan scored from the spot.
