Chelsea deny Ancelotti rumours

Chelsea have "not reached agreement with any individual to become manager, nor have we sought permission from any organisation to talk to their manager", according to a club statement.

"We are extremely happy how our search is progressing"

Some earlier media reports had speculated that AC Milan manager Carlo Ancelotti was close to being announced as the club's new coach.

Media reports have claimed however that an agreement has been reached with the Italian's advisors, but not Ancelotti personally, or AC Milan.
