Fair play to Robbie Henshaw.

Connacht’s rising star has a lot on his plate at the moment, as he works to recover from injury in time to take part in the upcoming Six Nations.

But the centre still took the time to write to a young fan who had been disappointed earlier in the season.

Connacht supporter Adam was left heartbroken when he waited patiently after a game, only to be pushed aside by older fans and lose the chance to get his hero’s autograph.

But when a kind-hearted family friend contacted Henshaw to let him know what happened, they arranged the perfect present to make it up to the lad.

Rather than just a postgame autograph, Adam received a Christmas card from his rugby idol.

Kudos to Henshaw, it wasn’t just a hasty best wishes, he took the time to write a personal note to Adam.
