Check out Nick Faldo’s Happy Gilmore-esque putt in the Par 3 competition

The US Masters always provides plenty of golden TV moments, but we suspect Nick Faldo may already have stolen the top spot in future 2016 clips shows.

Yes, Gary Player got a hole-in-one - one of NINE recorded during the traditional Par 3 competition - but we think this is even better.

Video from Ger Walsh.

The 58-year-old landed his putt far uphill and to the right of the hole and then watched - and willed - as it trickled its way back to the pin.

Eat your heart out, Happy Gilmore.

Naturally, the internet flipping loved it.
