Celtic without suspended McGeady

Aiden McGeady will miss Celtic’s Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash with Dundee United at Parkhead through suspension after being sent off in the Hoops’ last outing at Hibernian.

Striker Marc-Antoine Fortune will be out for at least another six weeks with a medial ligament injury and new signing, Chinese midfielder Zheng Zhi, is still a couple of weeks away from making his debut.

Stephen McManus, who played in both Scotland’s World Cup qualifiers against Macedonia and Holland after recovering from a knee injury, is in contention for his first Celtic appearance of the season.
