Carroll and Glynn win Player of Month awards

Offaly hurler Brian Carroll and Wicklow footballer Leighton Glynn have been named as the GAA All Stars Players of the Month for May.

Carroll is the Hurler of the Month after scoring 16 points in Offaly's thrashing of Laois in the opening round of the Leinster Hurling Championship.

Glynn, meanwhile, has been rewarded for his part in Wicklow's historic win over Kildare at Croke Park in the Leinster Football Championship.
