Buick appoints new agent

Michael Haggas has become the new agent of leading jockey William Buick.

Buick, retained jockey to John Gosden’s stable in Newmarket, has switched from Simon Dodds to the care of Haggas, who enjoyed a long working association with Walter Swinburn in the 1990s.

Buick said: “I was very happy with Simon Dodds but just felt that I needed to move to an agent that only booked rides for me exclusively.”
