Bolton's Muamba remains in critical condition after cardiac arrest

In Britain, Bolton Wanderers footballer Fabrice Muamba remains in a critical condition in intensive care after suffering a cardiac arrest.

Paramedics spent two hours trying to get Fabrice Muamba's heart to beat on its own after the Bolton midfielder collapsed on Saturday.

The player's fiancee urged fans to pray for him, while the club's manager Owen Coyle said he hoped there would be a "happy outcome" for Muamba.

Doctors will assess his condition later.
