Bohs stretch lead at top with victory

Bohemians 2 Bray Wanderers 0

Jason Byrne celebrated his elevation into the all-time top ten League of Ireland goalscorer with a sixth strike of the season against his former club.

The champions hit Bray with a two goal salvo just before the interval as they cruised to victory to increase their lead at the top of the table to three points.

Killian Brennan justified his inclusion from the start with a stunning free-kick on 42 minutes.

Two minutes later in-form Byrne headed home Brian Shelley’s corner.
