Galway United 0 Bohemians 2
Goals early in each half from Anto Flood and Keith Buckley saw Bohemians end the hoodoo that Galway have had over them recently with this emphatic win at Terryland Park.
Flood, a former Galway player, headed the opening goal on 14 minutes from Stephen Traynor's cross.
The second arrived 11 minutes after the interval. Flood had shaved the crossbar before bringing a parry save from keeper Greg Fleming. But teenager Buckley was on hand to shoot home the rebound.
The win moves Bohemians back up to fourth. A seventh successive defeat for Galway sees them remain adrift with Drogheda at the foot of the table.
