Babel may feature in Champions League clash

Ryan Babel has travelled with the Liverpool squad to Spain and could feature in their Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid tomorrow.

Winger Babel had picked up an ankle injury while on international duty with Holland recently that ruled him out of the weekend Barclays Premier League clash with Wigan.

Liverpool coach Rafael Benitez also had minor injury doubts over midfielders Steven Gerrard and Yossi Benayoun, as well as forward Robbie Keane, but he expected them to be fit.

Former Atletico striker Fernando Torres and centre-back Martin Skrtel are both unavailable as the Reds seek to make it three wins from three Champions League games but Javier Mascherano could return.

Team (from): Reina, Arbeloa, Carragher, Agger, Dossena, Pennant, Gerrard, Alonso, Riera, Keane, Kuyt, Lucas, Insua, Ngog, Benayoun, El Zhar, Mascherano, Cavalieri.
