Airtricity League round-up: Wexford Youths record first-ever Premier win, while clash of the table-toppers ends in draw

Dundalk and Derry City have played-out a 1-1 draw in tonight's top-of-the-table clash in the Airtricity League Premier Division.

David McMillan's goal after just four minutes put Dundalk ahead but Barry McNamee sealed a share of the points for the Candystripes.

Both sides finished with just 10 men at Oriel Park after Chris Shields and Conor McCormack both saw red during the second-half.

Elsewhere tonight in the top-flight, Bohemians, Shamrock Rovers and Wexford Youths all claimed 2-0 wins over Longford Town, Galway United and Bray Wanderers respectively.

Keith Buckley and Ayman Ben Mohamed scored the goals for Bohs late in the first-half at Dalymount Park in their win over Longford.

And Wexford got their first ever win in the Premier Division thanks to goals in either half from Paul Murphy.

The other scheduled Premier Division match between Finn Harps and St Patricks's Athletic was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Finn Park.

In the First Division, Drogheda United hammered Cabinteely 4-0 at United Park while UCD and Athlone Town played-out a 1-1 draw in Belfield.
