Added time equaliser denies opening European Championship victory to Rep of Ireland U-17s

Ireland 1 - 1 Greece

The Republic of Ireland have been cruelly denied victory in their opening game of their Under-17 European Championship campaign.

It finished Ireland 1 - Greece 1 at Tallaght Stadium.

Matt Everitt had given the hosts the lead, but Greece levelled in the fifth minute of added time with a goal that had originally been flagged for offside.
