Prime site on Glasheen Road guides at €425k

A prime development site located in the sought-after Glasheen Road area of Cork is now on the market.

The 0.16-acre site at St Finbarr’s Park is zoned for residential, local services and institutional use, said Brian Olden of sole selling agent Cohalan Downing who gives it a guide price of €425,000.

The site is conveniently located within a five-minute drive of the city centre and is a mere 10-minute walk from University College Cork and the Bon Secours Hospital.

“It’s a rare opportunity to acquire a prime development site within this desirable city centre suburb,” Mr Olden said.

The site itself is level and rectangular-shaped, offering extensive road frontage.

It certainly offers an attractive potential development opportunity, noted Mr Olden. “It could be suitable for townhouses or semi-detached residences or possibly student accommodation,” he added.

The area is adjacent to The Lough amenity walk and wildlife sanctuary. The site is also close to a range of local services, amenities and bus routes.

It is for sale by private treaty and viewings are strictly by appointment with the sole agency Cohalan Downing.
