Check in to the Limerick Savoy, the city’s only five-star hotel and spend some quality time with your amour this Valentines Day. Your deluxe bedroom will be decked out with a bottle of bubbles on your arrival, which you can enjoy before a candlelit dinner in The Savoy Restaurant while the dulcet tones of the hotel’s resident pianist assure you that love truly is all around. If you want to make the evening extra special, you can arrange for flowers on arrival, chocolate-dipped strawberries to accompany your fizz, or an Alex Findlater & Co hamper filled with goodies delivered to your room.

From €240 including dinner in The Savoy Restaurant and breakfast the following morning.


Hayfield Manor is dimming the lights and lighting their fireplaces this Valentines Day, offering a romantic package with all the five-star bells and whistles you’d expect from the luxury hotel. You’ll spend one night in one of their gorgeous rooms, with a romantic three-course dinner in either Orchids, Hayfield’s signature restaurant, or Perrott’s Garden Bistro. You don’t have to set the scene for romance here: guests will be treated to a romantic turndown, which includes a bottle of chilled Champagne, chocolate-dipped strawberries, rose petals strewn over your bed, and classical music playing in the background.

The five-star Valentine package includes one night B&B, dinner and a romantic turndown, and costs from €450.


The InterContinental in Dublin offers a fantastic location for a love-fuelled getaway in the capital this Valentines. The That’s Amore package includes a bottle of Champagne and chocolate tasting plate on arrival and an overnight stay that includes a rose petal turndown. The following morning, treat yourself to a full Irish breakfast followed by an hour or two in the Thermal Suite and indoor pool.

The package is available between February 13 and 17 from €150 per person sharing.


Overlooking the gorgeous tree-lined People’s Park in Limerick’s Georgian quarter, No 1 Pery Square Hotel & Spa is committed to making Valentines Day an ultra luxurious experience for their guests. Their 24-Hour Escape Bed and Breakfast night package includes a night’s accommodation in a period style room, which features mod cons like supercharged hairdryers and GHD straighteners on request, and a bathroom decked out with Voya toiletries. You’ll enjoy a three-course meal at Sash restaurant and a glass of prosecco each that evening and will receive a €35 spa voucher each towards a treatment of your choice and an hour in the Thermal Suite the following morning.

The 24 Hour Escape, B&B package costs from €155 per person.


If you want all the luxury, but crave a relaxed atmosphere, then Hunter’s Yard at Mount Juliet Estate Hotel is a great choice. Their overnight love package includes a stay in the hotel where you’ll enjoy a welcome bottle of bubbles and a red rose on arrival, dinner served in The Hound at Hunter’s Yard, and breakfast the following morning. The Love Heart package costs from €295 and is available until the February 27.


The Imperial Hotel in Cork has a great offer for a romantic jaunt to the city this February 14. The one night Valentines Escape includes chocolate dipped strawberries on arrival, a four-course meal at Pembroke Restaurant with a glass of prosecco and a romantic turndown with rose petals and Lily O’Brien’s chocolates.

Choose either a deluxe double room with added extras like underfloor heating in the bathroom and Orla Kiely toiletries, and sleep well before enjoying a full Irish breakfast the following morning.

The one-night Valentine’s escape costs from €228 per room.


The Conrad Dublin’s Romance Package includes a one-night stay in the recently refurbished city centre hotel, and Valentine’s inspired set dinner at The Coburg Restaurant. A great choice for the tech-minded among us, rooms are all decked out with bluetooth docking areas and usb ports, as well as crucial Nespresso machines. For an even more tailored approach to your stay, it’s worth downloading the Conrad Concierge app, which can help you specify details like the kind of bath you would like drawn at turndown service.

The romance package costs from €380 for two people.


Make the most of a Valentine’s break at The Europe Hotel & Resort in Killarney by availing of the special early check-in they are offering as a part of their Valentine’s One-Night Escape. You’ll be treated to a box of chocolates on arrival, and a magnificent romantic meal that night, but the real draw is the incredible spa. For something a little extra, it’s well worth reserving the Private VIP Suite and enjoy two hours of luxury and relaxation with private changing facilities, couples shower, laconium, large infinity bath and private relaxation area.

The Valentine’s One-Night Escape on February 14 costs from €190 per person sharing. The Private VIP Suite costs €420 for two hours and includes one treatment per person.


The hotel in Ennis is the perfect study in old school hospitality, and is perfectly situated for a day spent exploring the wilds of County Clare after a night of romance. They have a wonderful two-night Valentine’s package, which includes a candlelit dinner, complimentary chocolates on arrival. The following morning, breakfast will be delivered to your room, where you can linger thanks to a late check-out. The two-night Romantic Break package costs from €139 per person.
