Plus size supermodel Ashley Graham shows us how to make denim sexy in stunning new campaign shoot

As the first plus size model to grace the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition, Ashley Graham obviously knows how to work a bikini like a pro.

And with her own line of lingerie, the American model is no stranger to posing in next to nothing – and looking incredible while doing it.

But now the 30-year-old has pulled off and even more impressive feat: managing to make a wide-leg cropped jeans and a denim jacket sexy. Yes, really.

The shot is part of for her new collaboration with plus size designer Marina Rinaldi, a denim collection available in sizes 16 to 28.

On sale now at premium plus size retailer Navabi, the range features jeans, denim skirts, jeans and dresses all created to make curvy figures look amazing, as the model-turned-designer proves in the campaign.

In the case of the jeans and jacket, size 16 Ashley styled her outfit with suede killer heels, bedhead hair and a chic silk scarf knotted round her neck, taking the combo from casual to fabulous.

1. Double denim totally works

Especially when you clash light and dark washes and tuck your faded denim shirt into a fitted pencil skirt.

2. Emphasise your waist

Plus size dresses don’t have to skim over your curves. This indigo denim dress clings in all the right places, the high waist and form-fitting skirt creating an incredible hourglass figure.

3. Don’t underestimate a denim shirt

The key to styling this cowboy classic according to Ashley? Roll up the sleeves, turn up the collar and leave several buttons undone.
