Ideal Home Show returns to RDS

The Permanent TSB Ideal Home Show returns to the RDS this weekend with an estimated 30,000 people expected to attend.

"The Dyson Wellbeing Showhouse designed by Rebecca Roe aims to encapsulate natural light, drawing inspiration from traditional Japanese tea rooms and implementing a tonal and earthy palette".

The showhouse aims to encapsulate natural light, drawing inspiration from traditional Japanese tea rooms and implementing a tonal and earthy pallet.

Michael O'Reilly from The Garden Shop in Belfast will provide ideas and inspiration for the outdoor living space, such as how to turn your garden into a modern, attractive and functional living space.

The Garden Shop will also host a Garden Advice Clinic where attendees can get one-on-one advice on gardening tips.

There will be a Build Expo and Mitsubishi Electric Home Advice Theatre to provide information on technology and sustainable energy.

RTE's Home of the Year judges Peter Crowley and Deirdre Whelan will deliver talks and offer advice over the weekend.

Sean D.Lemass of SDL Exhibitions said: "The Permanent TSB Ideal Home Show is about helping home owners attain the comfort, lifestyle and wellbeing that comes from achieving your ideal home.

"This April's event will focus on sustainability and personal wellbeing with the introduction of ECO Expo, showing how every home owner can reduce their energy use and extend or improve their homes in an Eco-friendly way.

"At the same time, Dyson are sponsoring the Dyson Wellbeing Showhouse."
