‘Crossing the Turk Head’ by Majella O’Neill Collins from Morgan O’Driscoll’s online art sale.

O’Driscoll auction

Over 300 artworks and sculptures are included in Morgan O’Driscoll’s current affordable off-the-wall online auction. 

It runs until next Monday evening between 6.30pm and 11pm. There is a big selection on offer and estimates are reasonable. 

The sale is on view in Skibbereen from noon to 5pm on Saturday, Sunday and Monday and it can also be viewed online at www.morganodriscoll.com

Fair day

An antiques and vintage fair will be held at the Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire from 11am to 6pm on Sunday.

Group show

Land(ed) is the title of a group exhibition of contemporary craft at the Lavit Gallery in Cork until August 31. 

This multi-disciplinary show features furniture, baskets, ceramics, wall-hangings, vessels and metal utensils.

The show coincides with Cork Craft Month in the city and county. 

It features work by Stuart Cairns, Joe Hogan, Simon Kidd, Alan Meredith, Mourne Textiles, Mandy Parslow and Elaine Riordan.

Interiors sale

There will be a classic and contemporary interiors sale at Mullen’s of Laurel Park, Bray, Co Wicklow, at 10am on Monday.

The items on offer will be on view between 10am and 5pm on Saturday and Sunday and from 9am on Monday.

London calling

Items relating to Margaret Thatcher are on offer with London bookseller Peter Harrington. 

All are on the market for the first time, including a George III-style desk from her office in Belgravia and later at the House of Lords (£75,000 or €81,629.62).
