Inspiration: As trending colours go, green is on-brand for the season of renewal, growth and hope. What’s more, its multiple iterations allow for differences whilst still being true to its harmonious roots.

Prepare to bask in blissful salad days with pungent chive (the earthy sister to khaki and olive); indulge in palette-cleansing pistachio; or bathe in the aquatic tones of Biscay Green – a favourite with Victoria Beckham and Valentino.

Looking for something broodier? Keep your eyes peeled for Storm – a cool and full-bodied jewel tone, loved in equal measure by high street brands like Topshop and Uterqüe.

THE EDIT: From elegant to earthy, we’ve got the shades you need.

STYLE NOTES:

  • LEATHER UP: Make like Givenchy and break up bright green leather separates with a pop of optic white.
  • THROWING SHADE: Segue the seasons by mixing chive or khaki now with beefy burgundy. Switch gears to blossom pink when the mercury rises.
  • IT’S A SHOO-IN: Dip a toe into the trend with a pair of green boots or strappy sandals as seen at Gucci and Rejina Pyo.
  • KEEP IT SIMPLE: Defer to dresses with deep-V necks, puffy sleeves, pleated skirts or ruffle hems.
