Woman's body found in water off Cliffs of Moher

A woman's body has been recovered from the sea off the Cliffs of Moher in Co Clare.

It is believed her body was spotted in the water by a ferry and was recovered at around 5pm yesterday evening.

It was removed from the scene and taken to University Hospital Limerick.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
