Woman to appear in court in relation to Gareth Hutch murder investigation

A woman in her 40’s has been detained in relation to the murder of Gareth Hutch.

She is due to appear at the Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin tomorrow morning at 10.30am charged in connection with this investigation.

The 35-year-old father-of-one was shot dead last Tuesday morning.

The murder happened outside the flat complex where he lived on North Cumberland Street in Dublin's north inner city.

Two other prisoners remain in custody.

They were arrested yesterday evening in connection with the shooting.

They are being detained at Bridewell and Store Street Garda stations.

There is now a total of 3 people in custody in relation to this murder.

No further details on the arrests are being made available at this stage for operational reasons.
