Woman shot dead outside Arsenal stadium was from Cork

The woman who was shot dead at a house near Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium in London was from Cork, according to the Evening Echo.

Leeann Foley, aged 32, an accountant, was found by police lying severely injured inside the home she shared with her boyfriend at 9.30am last Saturday.

She was pronounced dead at the scene despite the efforts of air ambulance doctors.

A man was charged in connection with the incident and is due in court today.
