Woman remains in custody after fatal Temple Bar assault

Gardaí are questioning a woman in connection with a fatal assault in Dublin city centre last week.

29-year-old Gareth O'Connor from Clondalkin died after row broke out on Cow's Lane in Temple Bar last Thursday at about 9pm.

Two women were arrested as part of the investigation yesterday.

One of the women was released without charge, while the second in her 20s is still being held at Pearse Street station.

Gardaí at Pearse Street are renewing their appeal for witnesses or anyone who may have filmed the incident to come forward.
