Woman injured in Dundalk shooting

A 20-year-old woman was shot in the foot in Dundalk this evening, gardaí said.

The incident occurred at around 5pm at Maple Drive, Maple Close Estate in Dundalk.

The victim was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, where her injuries are described as non life threatening.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact Dundalk Garda Station on 042 – 9388400, The Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
