Woman hit by train in Offaly

Woman hit by train in Offaly

A woman has been struck by a train in Co Offaly this afternoon.

It happened near Clara Station on the Westport to Heuston line.

She is being airlifted from the scene to hospital for treatment.

Her condition is not known at this time.

The line has since reopened, however Iarnród Éireann say it's subject to delays.
