Woman held over Dublin drug seizure released

Gardaí are continuing to question two men in connection with the seizure of 100 kilograms of cannabis resin in Dublin yesterday.

96 kilograms of the drug were discovered by gardaí when they stopped and searched a car on Griffith Avenue on the northside of the city.

Two men aged 25 and 36 were arrested and are being held at Ballymun Garda Station.

A 29-year-old woman, who was arrested in a follow up search of a house in Coolock, was released without charge last night.

Four kilograms of cannabis was seized during the raid on the house.

The drugs have a combined potential street value of €700,000.
