Woman dies in Galway car accident

A 26-year-old woman has died in a two-car collision in Co Galway today.

It happened at around 7am this morning on the N18 at Moneymore near Oranmore.

Three men were also injured and are being treated at University Hospital Galway - their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The N18 at Moneymore is expected to remain closed for a number of hours and traffic diversions are in place.
