Woman dies in Donegal car accident

A 28-year-old woman has died in a crash in Donegal.

The crash happened in the village of Kilmacrennan.

The dead woman, thought to be from the local area, was a passenger in a black BMW that crashed into a wall shortly before 4am this morning.

The male driver is being treated at Letterkenny General Hospital.

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
