Woman dies in Cork crash

A woman has died following a crash in Cork.

The woman in her 60's was seriously injured when the car she was a passenger in collided with another car at Skew Bridge, Tivoli at around 4pm today.

She was taken to Cork University Hospital, however she died a short time later.

Four other people received non-life threatening injuries in the accident.

Gardaí in Cork are carrying out a technical examination of the scene and are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
