Woman arrested in connection with Finglas death

Gardaí investigating the discovery of the body of Vincent Maher in an apartment on Wellmount Road, Finglas on January 11, have arrested a woman.

The 23-year-old woman was arrested early this afternoon and is currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939, in Finglas Garda Station.

Another female arrested on last Friday in connection with this investigation was released from Garda custody without charge this afternoon.

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
